Had previous surgery at age 8 for left hip shelf procedure

Now complains of impingement due to hip shape

Treatment:

Morscher osteotomy to do a relative neck lengthening and bring down greater trochanter

Results:

Improved hip biomechanics with a more normal looking hip. No more impingement
