Elisabeth Leblanc graduated from Laval University, Faculty of Medicine in 2007.

She completed her residency in orthopedics at the University of Sherbrooke while finishing a master’s degree in cellular biology and bone healing.

In 2013, she finished her first fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at McGill University in collaboration with the Montreal Shriners where she developed her skills in general pediatric orthopedics and bone lengthening/deformity. In 2014, she completed a second fellowship at Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia, where she enhanced her skills in pediatrics and more specifically in hip-sparing surgeries.

Currently, she holds a position at the CIUSSS de l’Estrie in pediatric orthopedics and provides procedures to pediatric and adult patients. She does traumatology, general pediatric orthopedics, corrections of pediatric and deformities for adult patients and offers expertise in hip-sparing surgery. Academically, Dr. Leblanc is an associate professor at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Sherbrooke and holds a coordination position for the MD program.
