What is Clubfoot Deformity?
Clubfoot is a deformity that causes the foot to twist down and inwards. Though noticed and treated in newborns, Clubfoot is not painful for the baby. Treatment is needed in all cases to correct the deformity in order for the child to be able to walk normally. If left untreated the condition can develop lifelong physical limitations and pain. The condition is seen more often in male patients than in females. With treatment, almost all children have feet that allow them to participate fully in all normal activities.
