What is a Height dysphoria?
Height dysphoria is a type of body image anxiety disorder. Patients with this condition have dissatisfaction about their height that can elicit feelings of anxiety, nervousness, sadness, or depression due to the fact that they feel their height is short/tall. In many cases, patients with height dysphoria compare their height to that of others. These patients have their own perception of how their body should look and don’t feel comfortable with their current body height.
