For the past 9 years Dr. Forsythe has worked at the Centre Mère Enfant at Centre Hospitalier Université Laval in Quebec City.
Prior to medicine, Caroline worked as a physiotherapist. After completing orthopaedic surgery residency at Memorial University of Newfoundland, she completed three fellowships, two in pediatric orthopaedics (Adelaide, Australia and Vancouver, British Columbia). A third fellowship in Limb Reconstruction and Deformity Correction at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia was completed in 2012.
As of April 30, 2022, Caroline has successfully completed her Masters in Clinical Epidemiolgy.
Caroline has been involved in limb lengthening and deformity correction since arriving in Quebec in 2013. She has extensive knowledge of acute and gradual correction, working with frames, intramedullary lengthening nails, and fixator assisted acute corrections.
