Dr. Hugo Centomo is an orthopedic surgeon with a PhD in kinesiology with specialization in biomechanics from the University of Montreal and the University Joseph Fourier, Grenoble, France.

Graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Montreal in 2012, he completed a residency in orthopedic surgery in 2017 at the University of Montreal and a subspecialty in orthopedic trauma surgery at LAC+USC / Keck Hospital, University of Southern California at Los Angeles from 2017 to 2018.

He is accredited by the Orthopedic Trauma Association (OTA) and the Royal College of Medicine and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr. Centomo is mainly interested in the complications of traumatological orthopedic surgeries: mal-union (bone deformities), non-union (fractures with healing problems) and chronic bone infections. He also performs orthopedic surgeries on the shoulder (rotator cuff), knee (total/noncompartmental prostheses), ankle (sequelae of sprains) and foot (hallux valgus).

Dr. Centomo is recognized for his multidisciplinary holistic approach with his patients, where he prioritizes patients’ best interests to find the most optimal solution.
